Global Management Systems Certification Private Limited (GMSCPL) is a management systems certification body headquartered in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. We provide third-party certification, auditing, inspection and training services to organisations across manufacturing, information technology, healthcare, food, construction, logistics and the service sector.
Our work is straightforward to describe and demanding to do well: we assess whether an organisation’s management system genuinely conforms to an international standard, and we say so — or say why it does not. That judgement is only worth something if it is independent, technically competent and consistent, which is why those three things govern how we recruit, how we assign auditors, and how certification decisions are made.
We audit against the standard, not against a template. Our assessors come from the sectors they audit, so a food safety audit is conducted by someone who has worked a processing floor and an information security audit by someone who has run infrastructure. That is the difference between an audit that finds documentation gaps and an audit that finds the things that will actually hurt you.
What a certification body actually does
A management systems certification body performs one function: it independently assesses whether an organisation’s management system conforms to a published standard, and issues — or declines to issue — a certificate on the strength of that assessment. Everything else a certification body does exists to make that judgement trustworthy.
That is why the governing standard for our own operations, ISO/IEC 17021-1, spends most of its length on independence, competence and process rather than on auditing technique. A certificate is only worth what the assessment behind it was worth, and the assessment is only worth something if the body issuing it could have said no.
How our certification process is governed
- Audit-day duration is calculated to IAF MD 5 from effective headcount and risk category — not set commercially, and published with every quotation.
- Auditors are assigned by verified technical competence for the sector and standard, with documented evidence of that competence held on file.
- Certification decisions are made by a reviewer who did not conduct the audit, examining the complete audit file independently.
- Impartiality risks are identified, evaluated and treated on an ongoing basis, and reviewed by a committee including members independent of management.
- Complaints and appeals are investigated by personnel who were not involved in the decision being challenged.
- Auditors are witnessed in the field periodically, and client feedback on audit quality feeds directly into auditor evaluation.
Who we work with
Our clients range from nine-person machine shops certifying to ISO 9001 for the first time because a customer asked, to multi-site groups running integrated three-standard systems across several states. The audit process is the same; the audit-day calculation, the sampling plan and the assessor competence required are not.
We work across manufacturing and engineering, information technology and ITES, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, construction and real estate, education, financial services, logistics, automotive and energy. Where a scope requires technical competence we do not hold, we say so and decline it rather than sending the nearest available assessor.
What we do not do
We also do not offer to shorten audits below the calculated duration, do not describe unaccredited certification as equivalent to accredited certification, and do not tell an auditee how to fix a nonconformity — the last of which is a genuine constraint rather than unhelpfulness, because advising on the solution would compromise the independence of the assessment.

Conduct
The values that decide what happens under pressure
Values are only meaningful where they cost something. These are the ones that do.
Integrity
We report what we find. A certificate that was not earned devalues every certificate we have issued, so there is no commercial argument that outweighs an honest finding.
Impartiality
Certification decisions are made independently of the audit team and independently of commercial relationships. Our impartiality arrangements are documented, monitored and reviewed by a committee we do not control.
Competence
Auditors are assigned by verified technical competence for the sector and the standard — never by availability alone. Competence is evidenced, witnessed and periodically re-verified.
Confidentiality
Everything we see during an audit belongs to the client. Information is disclosed only where the client authorises it or the law requires it, and we tell the client when the law requires it.
Continual Improvement
We apply to ourselves what we assess in others. Our own management system is audited, reviewed and improved, and client feedback on audit quality feeds directly into auditor evaluation.
