Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. Global Management Systems Certification Private Limited may revise these terms at any time by updating this page, and continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Use of website content and intellectual property

The content of this site — text, layout, graphics, icons, and the arrangement of them — is owned by or licensed to GMSCPL and protected by copyright. The GMSCPL name, logo and certification mark are our property.

What you may do

• View, download and print pages for your own internal or personal use
• Quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link back to the source page
• Share links to any page on this site freely
• Use our downloadable application forms for their intended purpose

What you may not do

• Republish substantial content commercially or as your own
• Use our name, logo or marks in a way that implies endorsement, partnership or accreditation that does not exist
• Systematically scrape, mirror or reproduce the site or its content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems
• Use the site to transmit unlawful, defamatory or malicious material

Certification mark usage rules

Only organisations holding a current GMSCPL certificate may use our certification mark, and only in accordance with the Certification Marks Usage Guidelines, which form part of the certification agreement.

• The mark may be used on your website, letterhead, business cards, brochures and marketing material
• The mark must never be applied to a product, to product packaging, or to a label in a way that implies product conformity
• The mark must never appear on a test, calibration or inspection report
• Any reference to certification must accurately state the standard, the certificate number and the certified scope
• Reference to certification must not be made in a way that implies certification of activities outside the certified scope
• On suspension, withdrawal or expiry, all use of the mark and all reference to certification must cease immediately

Misuse of the mark is a ground for suspension of certification. In our experience misuse is almost always accidental rather than deliberate, which is precisely why the guidelines are worth reading before the first use rather than after a finding.

If you believe an organisation is misusing our mark or claiming a certificate it does not hold, tell us. We investigate every such report.

Accuracy of information

We take care to keep this site accurate, but content is provided for general information. Standards, scheme rules and accreditation requirements change, and guidance published here is not a substitute for the standard itself or for advice on your specific circumstances.

Where this site describes a process, a timeline or a cost, it describes the typical case. Your engagement is governed by your quotation and certification agreement, not by a web page.

Third-party links

This site links to external websites, including accreditation bodies and standards organisations. We provide those links because they are useful and, in the case of accreditation directories, because we actively want you to verify us there. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GMSCPL is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of this website, or from reliance on general information published on it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Liability arising from certification services is governed by the certification agreement, not by this clause.

Availability

We aim to keep this site available continuously but do not guarantee it. Access may be suspended for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. If a certificate verification is urgent and the site is unavailable, telephone us — verification is never dependent on this website being up.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
